Chef Bruno Feldeisen of Yew talks about PTSD with Fiona Forbes on the Rush

Bruno Feldeisen is the pastry chef at Yew in the Four Seasons hotel in Vancouver. Here he discusses his traumatic upbringing, the lingering psychic wounds it left, and his successful struggle against panic attacks, depression, and PTSD. Serious respect to Chef Feldeisen for coming forward to share his personal story. Also, I already knew Yew rocked; now I just have a little more insight into why: the people!

PS: Yew has the only polenta I actually like, and that’s because it’s more like pudding than like molded sawdust. God knows how they do it, though.
